Community Recovery - CR on the HILL at Shelby Christian Church is a caring community of people in recovery from all types of hurts, pain, addictions and struggles. We share the hope and healing of Jesus through the Biblically based, Christ-centered 12 Steps well known to most recovery programs. Community Recovery is for any type of hurt, pain, addiction or struggle you are dealing with. We find restoration by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God´s grace in solving our lives´ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ.

We are a stand- alone biblically based 12 step program. We are not affiliated with any AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery or any other recovery program. However, we do use material, step books, chip systems, etc. that are from these programs or very similar in nature.
